Dominic Diaz is a senior at the University of Southern California where he will be graduating in May of 2022 with a major in music performance and minor in themed entertainment. During his time at USC, Dominic has been heavily involved in the themed entertainment offerings and currently serves as the president of the TEA NextGen Branch at USC. While leading TEA@USC he has overseen several initiatives including the launch of a mentorship program, alumni network, and speaker series featuring high profile industry professionals. In addition to the TEA, Dominic has held various coordinator, creative, and producing positions with Halloween Convention “Midsummer Scream," immersive design company Alterea Inc., and was recently hired as a student assistant by Joe Garlington and Larry Gertz to assist in the development of a new themed entertainment major at USC.

In school he has acquired an immense training in all facets of music including, music theory, music production, and conducting. Through the themed entertainment minor he has taken classes and acquired skills in Show Writing, Art Direction, Special Effects, Game Design, Narrative Development for Immersive Entertainment, Graphic Design, and Themed Entertainment Concept Development. Additionally outside of USC he has taken additional courses in writing for seasonal attractions, show control systems, production design, and technical direction.
