Concept Development

USC Creativity and Fan Engagement

Roles: Creative Lead and Committee Member

Overview

The USC Creativity and Fan Engagement committee is a group of students selected by the Trojan Marching Band leadership to serve as a creative “think-tank” for developing new innovative concepts to improve crowd engagement.

As creative lead of the committee, Dominic worked with committee members to develop and pitch halftime show concepts, music selections, and large scale events to the band director, associate directors, and various USC executive leadership.

Once a concept was approved, Dominic would work with the band arranger and drill writer on the show through its completion.

Awards and Recognition

To honor the creative impact had on the organization, Dominic was awarded the Robert Jenson Memorial Award which recognizes the most creative member of the Spirit of Troy.

His concepts were highly applauded by audiences, even receiving special praise on Twitter from Kim Possible creator, Robert Shooley and Phineas and Ferb co-creator, Dan Povenmire.
